摘要:   原子在外加電磁場或電磁波的作用下,會產生相干(coherent)的量子態,不同躍遷途徑的電磁波與電磁波互相干涉則影響到電子躍遷的機率,介質的光學性質從而顯著改變。   本篇論文主要是分析原子在三能階系統 ,兩道不同頻率的光束作用之下,產生的兩種效應與其應用,一種效應是電磁波感應透明(electromagnetically induced transparency,簡稱EIT)而另一種效應為同調居量俘獲(coherent population trapping,簡稱CPT),我們各自討論其計算方式,並利用數值工具模擬計算結果預測出介質光學性質的變化,且在之後運用EIT概念於雷射生成裝置中。EIT的光學特徵將提供對精密測量,非線性光學和量子信息科學的進步。
 Under the external electromagnetic field, the atom produces the coherent states and emits the radiation by the different process of transition interfering the probability of the transition of the electrons in the system. The paper mainly focuses on the analysis of the three level system and two effects under the radiation with two different frequencies and their applications which are Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) and Coherent Population Trapping (CPT).We would discuss the method of computation and analyze the variation of the property of optical medium with the numerical technique.Then, we would apply the concept of EIT into the production of the laser. The characteristics of the EIT provides the precise measurement and gives the progress in nonlinear optics and quantum information.
