摘要: | 本論文運用許多不同種類的光學實驗來探討由二極體激發式摻釹釩酸釔(Nd:YVO4)雷射產生之連續波鎖模現象,實驗架構中,主要由兩種共振腔形式所組成,首先,我們在實驗中使用兩個元件所組成之線性共振腔,並且探討在不同共振腔長以及不同反射率的輸出耦合鏡之下,觀察摻釹釩酸釔雷射之自鎖模現象,並且在實驗中探討不同穿透率的輸出耦合鏡以及不同共振腔長在平平腔中的自鎖模效應。其次,我們使用由三個元件所組成之共振腔加入探討,基於耦合共振腔的概念,我們調整Lcav 以及 L2來達成諧波鎖模雷射,並且藉由三個元件所組成之較長的線性共振腔中產生的Nd:YVO4觀察諧波自鎖模雷射現象。 This thesis presents several optical experiments to explore mode locking in continuous-wave by diode-pump Nd:YVO4 lasers. There are two resonator designs are applied in our experiments. First of all, we demonstrate a simple two-mirror linear cavity to systematically explore the performances of self-mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser with different cavity length and different reflectivity of output coupler. We experimentally demonstrate the performance of SML in a plano-plano cavity with different transmissions of the output coupler (OC) and different cavity lengths. In the linear three-element cavity case, we have employed a linear three-element cavity to achieve the harmonically self-mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser at longer cavity length. Based on the concept of the coupled cavity, I adjust the lengths of Lcav and L2 to obtain harmonic mode locking. |
