摘要: | 近年来,为了控制材料表面的特性,表面修饰技术被广泛地应用于各领域,如:航太业、涂料、纺织与高分子涂层等。为了了解表面改质在奈米尺度下的应用,我们希望能藉由改质孔径大小可控的阳极氧化铝模板,来探讨高分子材料的形貌变化。 本论文分为两个工作,在第一个研究工作中,我们利用十八烷基三氯矽烷对阳极氧化铝模板进行表面修饰,并利用溶液法将高分子导入改质后的孔洞内,制备出奈米薄膜。之后,进行热退火一段时间,可以在孔洞内观察到薄膜的反润湿现象。此外,藉由控制热退火时间,我们推测在改质孔洞内反湿润现象的机制是连续且自发的分解反应(spinodal decomposition)。在第二个研究中,我们利用阳极氧化法和表面修饰法制备孔洞上下性质不对称的模板。利用扩孔反应可以制备出孔径大小不对称的孔洞模板;利用表面修饰则可以制备出上下表面性质不对称的孔洞模板。本篇论文研究让我们更加了解在表面修饰之奈米孔洞对受限之高分子形貌变化的影响。 In recent years, the technique of surface modification has attracted great interest by numerous scientists because of its wide applications in areas such as aerospace industry, painting, textile, an polymeric coating. For further understanding the nano-scale applications of surface modification, we study the morphology change of polymeric materials in the modified pores of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates. This dissertation has two parts. In the first part (Chapter 3), we investigate the dewetting phenomenon of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) thin films coated in the nanopores of modified AAO templates. Through observing different thermal annealing times, we conclude that the mechanism of dewetting for thin films in coated naopores is spinodal decomposition. In the second part (Chapter 4), we fabricate the AAO templates with double-sized nanopores and different surface properties using the additional processes of pore-widening and surface modification. After the processes, the nanopores with the larger sizes are hydrophobic and the nanopores with the smaller sizes are hydrophilic. This dissertation provides deeper understanding in the morphology changes of polymers confined in the surface-modified nanopores. |
