摘要: 本研究主要探讨以加装气帘装置应用于改善天花板供风之小型机房过热和热回流情形,以实验方式针对气帘供风角度,供风速度,供风量与抽风量关系进行探讨,其中包括气帘供风角度为+20°,0°,-20°、供风速度为12m/s,10m/s,8.5m/s,7m/s、供风量等于,大于,小于抽风量,机房发热量设定为50kW,机房内包含10台机柜和开启5个供风口,每台机柜皆以42个风扇进行强制对流,结果显示,在供风量等于抽风量的条件下,气帘工作角度为0°,工作速度为12m/s时,机柜过热程度最低,可将RCI从47%提高至67 %,其中A1与A2机柜过热程度也达到最低,RCI值分别为65%与62%。在供风量大于抽风量的条件下,气帘工作角度为0°,工作速度为12m/s时,A1与A2机柜过热程度最低,其中RCI值分别为60%与61%。在供风量小于抽风量的条件下,气帘工作角度为0°,工作速度为12m/s时,A1与A2机柜过热程度最低,其中RCI值分别为36%与33%。
The objective of this study is to reduce the effect of hot air recirculation in a small-scale data center by using air curtain. The influence of the inclination angle of air curtain and injection air speed is examined. The associated effects on the efficiency indexes such as rack cooling index, supply heat index and return heat index are also reported in this study. The inclination angles of air curtain include +20°, 0° and -20° with air curtain speed being in 12 m/s, 10 m/s, 8.5 m/s and 7 m/s, respectively. The total power of data center is fixed at 50 kW and is uniformly distributed in 10 racks. Each rack contains 42 fans, and tests are performed with CRAH flow rate being equal, smaller, or larger than the supplied airflow in the rack. The phenomenon of racks overheating and hot air recirculation are at the lowest level (from 47% to 67%) when test is performed at the air curtain having an inclination angle of 0° and an air curtain speed of 12m/s. At the same time the phenomenon of overheating and the effect of hot air recirculation in A1 and A2 racks reach the lowest level with RCI of 65% and 62% respectively. When the CRAH flow rate is larger than racks flow rate with the conditions of air curtain inclination angle of 0° at an air curtain speed of 12 m/s, the phenomenon of overheating and the effect of hot air recirculation in A1 and A2 racks reaches the lowest level with RCI 60% and 61%, respectively. When the CRAH flow rate is smaller than racks flow rate with the conditions of air curtain inclination angle of 0° and the air curtain speed of 12 m/s, the phenomenon of overheating and the effect of hot air recirculation in A1 and A2 racks reach the lowest level with RCI 36% and 33% respectively.
