Abstract: Laser-colorized indium-tin-oxide (ITO) films are fabricated using femtosecond laser processing. By varying the laser fluences, nanostructures with cotton, brick and ripple forms are generated on the surface of ITO films, which produces cyan, yellow and orange colors. The fluence-dependent nanostructures on the surface of ITO films also significantly attenuates blue light so these materials are suited to eye protection and the screening of images behind ITO films for information security.
