dc.description.abstractWe design a backlight system, which consists of a novel light guide plate (LGP) and one diffuser. Comparing with a conventional backlight module, the on-axis luminance can be improved up to 6.1-times and the half-luminance angle decreased to 10 degrees in the vertical direction, and decreased to 6 degrees in the horizontal direction.en_US
