Abstract: This paper considers the problem of global stabilization for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying powers. A new design method based on the technique of adding a power integrator and the interval homogeneous domination approach, which can be thought as an evolution of the homogeneous domination approach, is developed to explicitly construct a smooth state feedback globally stabilizing controller. The novelty of this paper is the development of a systematic scheme, which provides us a new perspective to deal with the state feedback control problem for the nonlinear systems with time varying powers.
