Abstract: The emerging development of information and communications technology (ICT) influences the crafts design for digital arts. In Taiwan, the organization of CRE@TAIWAN, Creative and Revolutionary Education Taiwan, encourages researchers in universities or colleges to use Smart Living Technology for building teaching materials and planning teaching courses on cultural creativity and design. To develop the handicrafts industry in Nantou County is important because of abundant raw materials used in producing crafts. The purpose of this work is to design three categories of crafts with ICT as intelligent crafts, including bamboo QR Code design for shops and stores, smart phone APPs design in pressed flower AR cards with augmented reality (AR) technology, and situational LED color control by smart phones to transform space ambience. These intelligent crafts bring "wellbeing conveyed by passionate crafts," and express full-hearted wishes from gift givers in the form of exquisite skills.
