dc.description.abstractIn this paper, start from the m-dimensional homogeneous Poisson Point Process (HPPP), we present a closed form expression for the log-value estimation of a random variable which follows generalized gamma distribution (ggd). Numerical results are provided to show the correctness of proposed closed form. The proposed closed form can be applied to the calculations of signal strength and Shannon channel capacity of the random network which follows HPPP. Furthermore, our study can be extended to other studies of wireless communication. Here, we apply our proposed closed form to the fading figure estimation of Nakagami fading channel. Simulation results show our proposed estimator is comparable to other popular estimators.en_US
