dc.description.abstractA voice activity detector based on the controlled adaptive prediction delta modulation architecture is presented. The proposed detector utilises two parameters, a prediction gain and a prediction indicator. Computer simulation results show the proposed voice activity detection algorithm to be very robust in a noisy environment.en_US
