dc.description.abstractBlur-mask approach (BMA) was developed to simulate the light distribution of locally-controlled dimming LED backlight with much lower computational complexity which is less than 1% of that of conventional convolution method, Blur-mask approach was successfully demonstrated on a 37 '' HDR LCD-TV with real-time modification to perform high quality image (Less image distortion) and high contrast ratio (similar to 20,000:1 with test image-Lily).en_US
