dc.description.abstract本研究企圖探討漢字的長寬比,藉此了解漢字的長寬比是否為現今於電腦打字及平面印刷所通行的1:1比例狀況。透過了手寫字的範形實驗來擷取本研究所需的數值。 研究結果發現,漢字的長寬比範形是高大於寬,但是趨近於正方形的比例關係。並且筆劃數在當中佔了具有影響性的變因,筆劃越多則長寬所構成的面積越大。不同的字型分類也會有些許的落差,部分分類出現寬大於高的狀況。但是不論如何,都說明了現今通行的1:1比例是和漢字的字形結構相衝突的。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to find out the length and width’s proportion of Chinese characters through the prototype experiment of collected handwriting samples. According to the result of experiment, the length of Chinese characters is wider than the width. The proportion is almost close to a quadrate. And the numbers of strokes also play an important role in the proportion. The square of high number strokes’ character is bigger than low number strokes’ character. Different type categories cause different results. The proportion of certain type categories have the feature of larger width than length. The result of this study reveals that the proportion of hand written Chinese characters is 9:11, which is not the same as the proportion of 1:1 used in contemporary Chinese computer font.en_US
