摘要: | 在本論文中,我們提出並調查一種以無色光網絡單元為基礎,並使用雙平行馬赫曾德爾調變器來產生載波抑制單邊帶不歸零訊號來減少雷利背向散射雜訊的方法。第一章及第二章介紹了長距離被動式光纖網路。第三章分說明載波抑制單邊帶不歸零訊號的產生方法。第四張及第五章,我們分析不歸零訊號和載波抑制單邊帶不歸零訊號對於雷利背向散射之容忍度,並驗證兩種架構的長距離被動式光纖網路。其中一種架構其傳輸長度可以長達100公里。下傳速度為10 Gb/s、上傳速度為2.5 Gb/s的情況下,可以達到512的高分流比。
在第六章,我們計算用每個戶端在長距離被動式光纖網路裡的消耗功率。結果顯示長距離被動式光纖網路架構所消耗的功率低於被動式光纖網路、非對稱數位子載波線路以及光纖到節點等架構。最後,第七章則包含了總結及未來展望。 In this thesis, we proposed and investigated a Rayleigh backscattering (RB) noise mitigation scheme by using single sideband non-return-to-zero (CS-SSB-NRZ) signal generated by a dual-parallel Mach-Zehnder modulator (DP-MZM) based colorless optical networking unit (ONU). A brief introduction and review of different Long reach passive optical networks (LR-PONs) are given in chapter 1 and chapter 2 respectively. Detail analysis of the CS-SSB-NRZ generation is shown in chapter 3. We analyzed the RB tolerances of the NRZ and the CS-SSB-NRZ signals, and demonstrated two architectures of LR-PONs with centralized light source (CLS) in chapter 4 and chapter 5 respectively. One architecture of the LR-PON can reach 100 km. A high split-ratio of 512 is achieved using 10 Gb/s downstream and 2.5 Gb/s upstream signals. In chapter 6, we calculated the power consumption per customer in the proposed LR-PON. The result shows that LR-PON is more power-efficient than conventional PON, ADSL and FTTN. In chapter 7, a conclusion and proposed future works are given. |
