dc.description.abstract本研究鎖定社交網路服務與社會資本的關連性,想瞭解人們社交網路服務的使用是否會帶給使用者在人際網絡和人際關係某種程度的影響。在研究標的的選取上,以目前台灣最多人使用,接近七百萬名使用者的Facebook作為社交網路服務的代表。主要探討的是Facebook的使用行為對其人際網絡的擴張、維持、強化所造成的影響,最後,Facebook是否能幫助個人更有效的運用自己的網絡關係,形成社會資本,也是研究欲瞭解的重點之一。 本研究採質化研究之深度訪談法,針對18位Facebook使用者進行研究。結果發現一、根據不同的使用行為,將Facebook的使用者區分為「橋樑型」、「聚合型」、「綜合型」三種類型。;二、社交網站主要影響使用者結構面的社會資本而非關係面;三、社交網站所形成的社會資本利益主要在情感性而非工具性。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThis study focuses on the relations between the social networking services(SNS) and social capital, and wants to know whether the use of social networking services will impact users on interpersonal networks and relationships. This study chooses Facebook, which is the most popular SNS in Taiwan, as the subject of this research. I mainly focus on the influence of using behavior on the extension, maintenance, and reinforcement of interpersonal relationships. Meanwhile, I also want to know whether Facebook can help individuals use their network relations more effectively, to obtain social capital. In this research, an in-depth interview was done with 18 Facebook users. The followings are the conclusions: 1. The Facebook users can be differentiated to three type - "bridge", "convergence", and "combined" according to different using behavior. 2. The using of socail networking sites affect the structure dimension of socail capital more than the relationship dimension. 3. The main benefit of the socail capital obtained in Facebook is expressive, not instrumental.en_US
