物臭先生

Abstract

本論文是針對系列作品《物臭先生》所進行的創作自述。《物臭先生》為一系列的版畫創作，主要內容是描寫懶惰在生活中的各個面貌。懶惰，是許多人想擺脫卻又擺脫不了的問題，矛盾與困惑油然而生。不過，與其使自己深陷在矛盾的迴圈中，何不就輕鬆地一笑置之呢？作者觀察自身經驗，藉由版畫的方式將懶惰的趣味在作品中呈現。期望作品中的幽默趣味能吸引觀者的目光，與他們的生活經驗連結，並同樣試著以輕鬆的態度看待懶惰。

This thesis is an artist statement of my work, “Mr. Mono Gusa”, a series of prints. The main theme of the series presents the diverse aspects about the idleness in life. Idleness is a problem for a lot of people who want to cast off but hard to achieve. Therefore, conflicts and confusion exudes at the same time. However, why not dismiss with a laugh rather than trapped in the endless loop. The author make prints to show the humorous side of lazy life based on the observation of self-experiences. The author intends to draw the spectators’ attention and offer them the opportunity to make connections with their life experiences through the humorous and delightful pieces. Hopefully, the viewers can take idleness in a relax attitude.
