國際專利藥藥廠與國內學名藥藥廠在台灣競爭模式之分析研究

Abstract

日益進步的醫療技術，藥品不斷的創新發展出來，因此專利藥於專利期過後與學名藥的出現產生劇烈競爭。本研究以SWOT 分析法為研究基礎方法，分析在製藥產業領域在經營規劃時之策略分析。本研究調查分析中發現專利藥廠具有強的國際優勢、行銷能力、人員素質等等，但對於營運開銷、成本控管與危機處理往往不及國內藥廠來的具有優勢。反之國內學名藥廠卻無法有效在素質上的提升、走不出台灣等因素下，為了搶攻市場而落入價格戰中，與原開發專利藥廠形成強烈對比。希望透過此研究能給專利藥廠與學名藥廠做為未來競爭策略制定時參考的數據。

Alone with more and more advanced medical technology, new medicines are innovatively developed. Therefore dramatic competition between generic & original drug after patent protection comes up. This study is based on SWOT method to analyze generic & patent drug of operation & market strategy in the pharmaceutical industry. This study found that multiple national pharmaceutical companies who have patent drugs have strong international advantage, marketing capability, quality of personnel, etc., but less benefits in management of operating expenses, cost control and crisis control than the domestic generic pharmaceutical companies. On the other hand, domestic generic pharmaceutical companies are not effective in upgrading quality of companies and lack of international experience. They fall into the price war in order to grab big market share. Thus, I hope this study can provide data for those companies to develop competitive strategies in the future.
