dc.description.abstract隨著寬頻網路及數位多媒體的發展,電腦(computer)、通訊(communication)及內容(content)產業界線已逐漸模糊,網路電視因運而生,網路電視無論是市場規模或增長速度,均相當驚人,對電視產業的影響不容小覷。本研究以組織生態學之區位理論來分析PPStream、土豆網以及YouTube之區位寬度、區位重疊度及區位優勢,用以檢視這三種網路電視之資源使用模式及競爭優劣勢。 本研究採用網路問卷調查法,總計回收有效問卷1702份。研究結果發現,YouTube在四大面向皆屬於通才,傾向於滿足各種消費者的不同需求。YouTube在所有閱聽人滿足面向上為通才;PPStream除了在娛樂╱情感性、節目完整性╱收視流暢性資源相關面向傾向於通才之外,其他兩個區位面向偏向專才;土豆網除了在互動性區位寬度大於PPStream之外,其他三個區位面向都低於兩者,所以土豆網在資源使用上傾向於專一化,屬於專才。整體而言,雖然YouTube在各種閱聽人資源面向上佔有優勢,但競爭最激烈的為PPStream與土豆網,兩者互為替代品,YouTube與土豆網則偏向互補品。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThis study adopted the niche theory as the theoretical framework to investigate the competition among three types of Taiwan’s IPTVs: PPStream, Tudou, and YouTube. An online survey was used to collect data for this study and 1702 valid questionnaires were obtained. The data analysis shows that YouTube occupied a better position in terms of niche breadths, niche overlaps, and competitive superiority, but that strong competition existed between PPStream and Tudou. More detailed analyses were discussed in the thesis.en_US
