摘要: | 为了解决电脑对局游戏的应用问题,我们需要大量的计算资源,而志愿型计算其可扩充性、产能高以及费用低的特性,使我们决定使用志愿型计算的模式来解决电脑对局应用问题。不过电脑对局游戏有其特性,目前着名的志愿型计算平台,例如BOINC等等,无法直接套用到一些电脑对局的应用上,因此我们过去开发了一套适用于电脑对局游戏的志愿型计算系统,也成功解决一些问题。 为了支援国科会整合型计画,提供其他组织共同使用电脑对局游戏的计算平台,我们将针对现有的系统进行改良,使得不同组织的使用者能共同使用本志愿型运算系统,共同分享运算资源。我们也希望设计一套方法,来解决运算资源的分配的问题。目前本系统已经有其他组织加入使用,例如东华大学、师范大学等组织。 Many computer game applications need huge amount of computation and memory, so we need a lot of computing resources to solve those problems. Volunteer computing model, providing the features of scalability, high throughput and cheapness, would be a good solution for computer game applications. Unfortunately, many volunteer computing platforms, like BOINC, are not suitable for some computer game applications, so we have developed our own system of volunteer computing for computer game applications. For an integrated NSC project, we need to provide a computing platform for computer game applications for supporting many organizations concurrently. We will upgrade our system to support different organizations and share the computing resource provided by each organization. The major issue is to solve the problem of resource allocation. Currently, the system has been used by several organizations, such as National Dong Hwa University, National Taiwan Normal University and so on. |
