自動測試設備之市場整合 - 原因,後果,及影響

Abstract

本研究提供一個自動化測試設備（ATE）產業模型之分析。本研究是利用波特的五力模型來進行行業分析和5- C的框架來確定行業整合的因素。此外，本研究 也進行了行業整合現對競爭者及客戶三方面之分析 - 價格，測試成本和創新。最後，本研究也討論ATE產業整合是如何影響到Teradyne, Inc.

This study focuses on providing a model based analysis of the automated test equipment (ATE) industry by utilizing Porter’s 5 forces model to conduct industry analysis and the 5-C framework to determine the factors of consolidation in the industry. Also, the effects of consolidations to both the industry incumbents and customers were analyzed on three aspects – price, cost of testing, and innovation. Lastly, the implications of ATE industry consolidation to one of the market incumbents are discussed.
