Android應用程式存取管理工具

Abstract

近年來隨著行動通訊的蓬勃發展，也讓智慧型手機的銷售量逐漸攀升，成為現今熱門的3C產品之一，其中搭配Android作業系統的智慧型手機在市場上則占了多數。而智慧型手機其中一個關鍵的特點，即是提供可讓使用者下載應用程式的服務(例如：Google Play、App Store)。這樣方便的服務，不僅方便了使用者，也方便了第三方應用程式開發商；然而一旦安裝的應用程式逐漸增多，使用者該如何管理所有應用程式來保護隱私的資料是一大挑戰。 在本論文中，我們提出了AAAA(Android App Access Administrator)，可用來幫助使用者來管理所有的應用程式，使用者可藉由AAAA容易的設定那些應用程式必須被限制執行，或是擁有那些權限標籤的應用程式必須被限制執行。而由於我們實作的方式並未更動Android系統，故效能評估上顯示Android手機安裝上AAAA所造成的負擔並不大。

In recent years, smartphones have been widely used and Android is one of the popular operation systems in smartphone, which also has the highest market share. A key feature of smartphone is that it provides service which allow the smartphone users to download third-party apps for adding new capabilities (e.g. Apple's app store, Android's Google Play). While downloading these applications, it offers great convenience for users as well. However, as the number of the installing applications increase, how to manage all applications in their smartphones in order to protect their private data can be a big challenge. In this thesis, We propose AAAA(Android App Access Administrator) that allow user to manage all applications in their smartphones. User can use AAAA to specify what application should be prohibited. Our Implementation of AAAA did not modify Android System. The performance evaluation shows that AAAA has slight overhead to the android system.
