摘要: | 在本篇論文中,我們提出了一個在生醫應用上之高能源效率圖形處理器包括一浮點數頂點著色器。以三角形之三個頂點為基底的運算和在打光運算下使用資源共享可以達到5.54Mvertices/sec的運算速度。簡化的平行EEG映射運算可以減少計算量。輕量三角形設置和在掃描時使用剪裁效果可減少面積的使用成本,本論文提出之製程為TSMC 90 nm CMOS,可以達到742.6 Mvertices/mJ和2.52 Mpixels/mJ Abstract—In this thesis, a power-efficiency graphics processor with floating-point programmable vertex shader for biomedical applications is developed. The proposed triangle-based three-threaded vertex control scheme and reused culling operation for lighting in ISA can attain 5.54 Mvertices/sec for vertex processor in TSMC 90 nm CMOS process. Modified brain mapping algorithm can reduce the computation cycle. The lightweight triangle setup and reused scan conversion unit for clipping can reduce the area. The post-layout simulation indicates that the proposed graphics processor can attain 2.52 Mpixels/mJ. |
