In recent years the reasons to a number of semiconductor companies competing to enter the power management and other analog IC fields:Analog market grows stable, not like other products play a large landing, and the capital market made a positive assessment for the nose at analog IC industry, such as Linear and Maxim; in addition, the analog IC technology, the scope of application is extensive, can combine the core technology to produce synergy. Taiwan as a global center for production of consumer electronics products, coupled with the semiconductor industry cluster, has the complete industry supply chain with semiconductor foundry, packaging and testing. Successfully created the excellent environment for the development of Taiwan analog IC design industry, and created the rapid rise of analog IC design companies. However, competition within the industry is increasingly fierce. Competition, growth and decline between the related companies is quite significant. Companies must clearly understand the industry's overall environment and development trends in the development of enterprises in order to maintain competitive advantage, and in response to a highly competitive industry environment This research attempts to compare growth strategy of IC Design Houses in Taiwan getting involved in analog power management IC industry, and have the further exploration in the strategy formation.
