研究SAS在DP、EIS及EUC三者的技術支援能力

Abstract

將Davis和Olson提出的金字塔形管理資訊系統之圖形與「資料處理系 統」(DP)、「管理者資訊系統」(EIS)及「末端使用者自行使用電腦之能 力」(EUC)互相結合，可知彼此間存在一種對應關係：「資料處理系統」 支援組織之交易處理及作業控制等管理活動；「管理者資訊系統」則較偏 向於支援策略規劃、管理控制的活動；至於「末端使用者自行使用電腦之 能力」，廣義而言則是支援組織中日常工作經常使用電腦之人員的電腦使 用能力，因而前二者的使用者，都可以透過「末端使用者自行使用電腦之 能力」的支援，達到更好的工作績效。所以此三個主題，在MIS領域中的 過去、現在及未來皆扮演相當重要的角色。 基於「資訊管理」乃電腦 技術與使用者需求之間的一個連結橋樑，本論文乃透過三個主題相關研究 文獻的蒐集，分析歸納三者應具備之系統功能，以及欲支援三者系統之軟 體工具所應具備之技術能力；另一方面則挑選一個實際的軟體工具SAS為 研究對象，研究如何的軟體工具技術，可以支援開發三者系統所需之能力 ；同時也搜集其他組織使用SAS發展此三種系統的經驗，加以分析、驗證 ，希望能提供欲發展系統者作為參考。 mbining Davis and Olson's Management Information System and DP、 EIS、EUC,we can find one kind of mapping relationship : DP supports the transaction processing and operational control activities of organizations;EIS supports decision making and strategic planning; and EUC can help the users of DP and EIS to reach better working performance. Therefore we could know that DP、EIS and EUC are important in the past、now and future. Base on MIS is a connecting bridge of information technology and users' requirements,at first,this thesis by means of paper collection and survey to analyze and summerize the required system functions of DP、EIS and EUC,and also to realize the required technical capabilities of the system development software tools. Second,we pick up a real software tool -- SAS for the research objective and find out what technical capabilities of SAS can support the system development of DP、 EIS and EUC. At last,we also collect and analyze three examples of using SAS to develop DP、EIS and EUC.We hope that this thesis can offer reference for someone who want to develop these information systems.
