dc.description.abstract近年來有愈來愈多的研究工作者致力於平行離散事件模擬之研究。 Parallel discrete event simulation (PDES) attracts increasing interest in recent years. Most research on PDES has focused on reducing its execution time. However, the sucess of parallel simulation depends not only on reducing the execution time but also on reducing the parallel code development time. Thus, a simulation environment that can reduce the parallel code development time is needed. In this thesis, we propose three requirements for future parallel simulation environment: transparency, modularity and generality. Environments that satisfy these requirements should easily be used for developing the parallel simulation. To achieve these requirements, we design and implement a modularized Time Warp system in an Ethernet connected SUN workstations using C++ language and socket application program interface (API). Two examples, central server queueing model and tandem queueong are used to test our system. Experiment shows that the system achieves the proposed requirements.zh_TW
