摘要: | 由於電腦網路與資料庫技術的進步,使得使用者希望能在不同資料庫之間 彼此共享資料,提供他們更方便且快速的服務.將組織中許多已在使用的不 同資料庫整合而成的多資料庫系統,便是這個趨勢下的產物.多資料庫系統 與傳統的分散式資料庫兩者間有相當程度的差異.由於要維持原先各資料 庫的自主權,因此必須對多資料庫系統中的交易管理加諸許多限制,以維護 交易執行的正確性,相對地使得在其上的交易管理比傳統的資料庫系統來 得複雜許多.另外,在多資料庫系統上提供複製資料也是一個非常重要的課 題.複製資料能在系統失敗發生的時後,提供使用者另一個使用資料的管 道,增加資料的可用性,同時也能減少資料傳輸所需的時間與成本.為此,在 這篇碩士論文中,針對複製性多資料庫系統上的可靠交易管理,分別設計出 一套失敗復原辦法及排序演算法,解決當前複製性多資料庫系統交易管理 上的問題. Advances in networks and database technology have made it possible to allow shared access to different database. Multidatabase System (MDBS), which integrates several heterogeneous local database systems (LDBSs), is a natural result of the need. There are lots of differences between MDBS and traditional distributed database system. Transaction management in a MDBS is more complicated than in a traditional database system duo to the autonomy of each LDBS. As a result, the transaction executed in a MDBS are restricted to guarantee data consistency. Replication is also useful in MDBS because it increases data availability in the presence of failures and decreases data retrieval costs by reading local or close copies. We believe that to devise a reliable transaction management on MDBS is an important issue to database research. Therefore, in this thesis, we devise a new scheme for transaction management, including failure recovery and scheduling algorithm to resolve the problems on MDBS. |
