摘要: 抗諧振反射光波導是最近幾年才提出來的波導結構, 相對於傳統光波導, 它擁有許多迷人的優點, 諸如: 較大的核心區在光纖通訊上和單模光纖的 核心區相匹配, 單模低損耗傳輸, 容易設計和製作 (可以利用十分成熟的 半導體製成技術製作, 可利用的半導體材料十分豐富). 另外, 雙抗諧振 反射光波導同向耦合器, 它的耦合長度是相鄰波導區域間隔的週期函數, 而不是遞增函數.我們首次利用非正交模耦合理論, 來分析雙抗諧振反射 光波導元件,並利用光束傳輸方法模擬的結果來驗證我們的理論的正確性. 利用耦合理論分析的結果, 我們未來可以很有效律地設計許多雙抗諧振反 射光波導元件. Coupling between dual antiresonant reflecting optical waveguides (ARROWs) have been investigated. This kind of recently proposed light guiding devices have fairly attractive properties such as single mode waveguiding, large core size compatible with fiber, low propagation loss, coupling length being a periodic function of the separation between adjacent guides, easy design and easy fabrication. Coupled-mode theory is used to analyze coupling properties of our dual ARROW devices. Concepts of `pseudo-' waveguide come from the `perturbation' thoughts. Based on our CMT analysis, we design low-loss dual ARROW waveguides with coupled and decoupled structure, respectively. BPM simulations also give the same results and verify our theory. Our CMT analysis is very efficient to design various dual ARROW devices.
