FDDI 網路上的視訊選取服務

Abstract

本篇論文的主旨是先用 FDDI 來建立一個寬頻的區域網路,然後發展一個 使用者介面讓使用者可以很輕易的播放 MPEG 視訊.我們同時使用一些視 訊編輯工具和立體繪圖軟體來製作簡單的動畫,當使用者進入系統時便會 在螢幕上看到這個片頭.最後,我們提供了一些關於在 FDDI 網路上提供視 訊選取服務所得到的性能測試. This thesis is to build-up a wide bandwidth LAN first,then develops an interface for the users to easily retrieve the MPEG videos.We also use some video editing tools and 3-D graphic packages to produce a short animation video to show on the screen when a user login into the video server. At last, we have some performance test results over FDDI network.
