摘要: 开发一部三维电子故事书的工作,包括脚本设计、多媒体资料设计与程式
设计等。根据脚本,程式设计者必须选择适当的多媒体资料,建立多媒体
资料展示的顺序,以及决定故事书对读者互动输入或其他事件的反应,以
建立故事剧情的控制。程式设计的工作相当繁重,尤其是三维空间的定位
、多媒体资料的属性设定与控制,以及剧情的控制等。我们的目标是发展
一个编辑工具,以解决程式设计的困难,协助三维电子故事书的开发。我
们针对三维电子故事书的特性,建立适当的故事展现架构,以及故事剧情
的时序控制模型。并且,我们也设计了图形物件式的编辑介面,让故事书
设计者无须撰写繁杂的程式码,而在三维的虚拟平面上直接定位、预视并
载入多媒体资料、快速建立动画效果,此外,也以视觉化的编辑方式建立
故事的剧情控制。透过此编辑工具,故事书设计者将很快的就可完成一部
三维电子故事书。
The efforts to create a 3D electronic story book majorly include
script design, multimedia design and programming. According to
script design, the programmer has to choose appropriate
multimedia materials, to build the sequences of multimedia
demonstration, and to determine the interaction with users based
on the story scenario defined. The burden of this kind of
multimedia programming is quite heavy, especially the
localization in 3D space, the attribute and control setting of
multimedia objects, and scenario control.Our objective is to
provide an authoring tool that can diminish the difficulty of
programming and thus supports the development of a 3D electronic
story book. We have established an appropriate demonstration
architecture and a scenario temporal control model for 3D
electronic story book. Besides, we have designed a graphic
authoring interface in object style. By this, instead of direct
coding, the story designer can locate the position with the help
of the 3D virtual plane, preview and load multimedia objects,
set up animation effects, and build the story scenario control
in a visualized authoring manner. With our authoring tool, the
story designer can integrate a 3D electronic story book much
easier and fast.
