dc.description.abstract在容積視覺化中, 表面積的描繪是重要的技術之一. 在表面積的描繪過程 中, 可分為兩個步驟: 第一個步驟是表面積的產生, 第二個步驟是表面積 的描繪. 以前, 大部份的研究都是著重於減少三角形的個數以至於可以加 快表面積的描繪. 可惜的是, 這些方法多多少少對於所產生影像有些品質 上的失真. 在此篇論文中, 我們提出了一種產生網狀表面積的方法, 此方 法產生網狀表面積而不是互相獨立得三角形. 這種方法不僅縮短描繪表面 積的時間, 而且保持了影像原有的品質. Surface rendering is one of the most important technique for volumevisualization. There are two phases in the surface rendering: one isthe surface-generation phase, and the other is the surface-renderingphase. In the past, most researches focus on reducing the number oftriangles for speeding up the surface- rendering phase. However, theseapproaches more or less decrease the image quality. In this thesis, we propose an extended mesh- construction algorithm which outputs meshed surface instead of independent triangles. It not only reducesthe rendering time but also preserves the quality of image.zh_TW
