dc.description.abstract本文利用四官能基環氧樹及異氰酸酯作為反應型相容劑,與芳香族聚酯(polyarylate)及液晶聚酯(liquid crystalline polymer)摻混系統中進行摻合反應.藉由熔融加工過程使反應型相容劑與PAR/LCP末端基進行反應,而生成PAR-co-LCP共聚物來改善兩相間相容性.期望利用LCP高流動性質,高剛性及自我補強效應來改善PAR之加工性及機械性質.從微差掃描式熱分析儀,毛細管流變儀及熔融指數測試均證明相容劑加入後基材分子量的改變. 掃描式電子顯微鏡及機械性質結果則更加證實反應型相容劑確實成功的改善了PAR/LCP摻混系統的相容性.zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThis article reveals that the already known improved properties of the thermoplastic polymer(TP) - liquid crystalline polymer(LCP) blends can be further improved substantially over the corresponding noncompatibilizationcounterparts by using a reaction in-situ compatibilizer, a commercially anailable tetra-functional epoxy and isocyanate. The effect of the compatibilization was investigated by morphology, rheology and mechanical properties. Morphologyof compatibilized in-situ composites was found the fiber in the skin become finer and the domain on the core was small than noncompatibilizer. Thisimprovement is ascribed to better adhesion between the PAR matrix with the LCPfiber and better dispersion of the LCP fiber. It required only a very small amount of the epoxy and isocyanate monomers, a few fractions of one precent,to improve drastically the mechanical properties of the PAR/LCP blends. Theshear viscosity was increase when added epoxy and isocyanate monomers and demonstrate the molecular weight was increased.en_US
