設計思考中口語整合編碼系統初探—以工業設計活動為編碼案例

Abstract

在目前的設計思考研究中，口語分析是最常被用來分析設計思考與設計過 程的研究方法，在口語分析中的編碼系統，是將口語資料轉化成顯示思考 過程的重要依據。在目前的研究中，存在許多不同的編碼系統，但是並沒 有一個整合的系統，可以深入且全面的分析設計活動，本研究期望提出整 合編碼系統，使得分析設計活動更具有效力。並且利用工業設計師作為實 驗者，一方面驗證整合編碼系統，一方面視為工業設計思考行為的初探。 經過分析7組編碼系統，本研究提出『整合編碼系統』，首先整合不同特 徵的基模，期望能全面的分析設計行為，其次整合設計思考編碼系統與設 計行為編碼系統，期望能由內與外兩部份，深入的分析設計過程，最後整 合口語資料中的文字與圖形，修正以往不重視圖形的編碼方式，以更完整 的資料顯示設計思考。之後本研究利用工業設計師來驗證此編碼系統，分 析整合編碼系統的優點，並藉此顯示實驗案例的工業設計特徵。本研究提 出整合編碼系統對於未來分析設計行為有很大的助益，對於設計行為中的 圖形思考、設計策略、問題領域、知識涉入範圍與創造力等，都提供了一 個探討的有效工具。對於設計活動而言，本研究了解到設計活動中的思考 ，具有利用圖形與非利用圖形的兩個部份，以問題解決為主的模型無法完 整的解釋設計行為，另外視覺資料有助於創意的發展。 In the present design thinking research, protocol analysis is the most frequently used research method to analyze design thinking and design process. Coding system, as a part of protocol analysis, is an important basis to transform words into protocol and reveal thinking process. There are several different coding systems, but none of them is an integrated one which can be used to analyze design activity deeply and thoroughly. Therefore, my research is to propose an integrated coding system to analyze deAfter analyzing 7 coding systems, the research suggests an integrated coding system. At first, different schemata of different characters are integrated to entirely analyze design activity. Then design thinking coding system and design activity coding system, which represent inside design process and outside design behavior, are integrated to deeply analyze design process. Finally, the texts and graphics of protocol are integrated to refine the previous coding systems which ignore the importance of graphThe integrated coding system in the research benefits analysis of design activities. It can be used as a tool in study of design thinking issues, such as visual thinking, design strategy, domain, creativity and etc.
