Abstract: 在目前的虛擬實境應用當中,以影像為基礎來建構虛擬環境是一個不
錯的方法,但是在實際上進行遊走時,全景點間的平順轉換仍然是一個很
大的技術問題。在目前的系統當中,空間中的行進是以跳躍的方式來完成
,這種方式會令使用者突然間發現影像不同而缺乏連續性。本篇論文主要
是用影像畫面顯入淡出的方式來提供以上問題的解決方法。
Currently, image-based virtual environment is a good
approach in virtual reality applications. But, when we navigate
in the virtual environment, there is still a technical problem
in smoothly switching between panoramic nodes. In current
system, walkthrough in a space is accomplished by hopping. In
user's view, the image is suddenly changed when transfer from
one node to the other. This approach makes user feel the
discontinuity in view and decreases the realism of the
application. In this thesis, we purpose a solution by image
fade-in fade-out process to solve the problem.
