摘要: 近幾年來,綱路技術的整合與標準化促進了全球數據通訊的發展。從最近綱路技術的演進我們可以發現綱路發展的趨勢為高速化、服務品質的保證、隨處進接、以及符合經濟效益。在這篇論文裡,我們提出了一個校園內整合有線╱無線多媒體綱路的架構。這個綱路符合了上述發展的趨勢。此外,藉由有線及無線多媒體技術的整合,將可保證此綱路內端點間通訊的服務品質。這種整合型綱路可以鋪設在公司或是校園內以取代現有的數據通訊綱路及私用交換機。同時,並可在公司及校園內提供隨處進接以及個人通訊服務。
In recent years, there has been a major push towards network convergence and standardization, which will enable global data communications. Observing recent network development trends, we may find that they emphasize on high bandwidth, Qos support, nomadic access, and cost - effectiveness. In this thesis, we propose an integrated wired / wireless multimedia on - campus network that meets the demands of the above trends. Moreover, by integrating of both wired and wireless multimedia technologies, the end - to - end Qos can be supported in this integrated network. Such an integrated network can be deployed in an enterprise environment or a campus to replace traditional data communication networks and private branch exchanges (PBXs). It can also provide nomadic access and PCS functions in a local area.
