zh_TW
With the rising popularity of the Internet and the "virtual enterprise" concept, the coordination between enterprises is becoming more important. Therefore, how to integrate workflow management systems across enterprise boundaries on the Internet is a critical success factor for future enterprises. This work applies XML to interchange information among workflow across enterprise boundaries. Besides data sessions, the defined XML Forms also contain active rules to carry dynamic control information. Through the activation of the event status activated by the active rule, the workflow engine is able to dynamically determine the control flow of the workflow process. As a result, the execution of the inter-workflow across enterprise boundaries can be more flexible and efficient.en_US
