摘要: 液晶顯示器具有高亮度,厚度薄和低功耗等優點,所以已成為便攜式顯示系統的關鍵組件。為了獲得好的顯示效果,發展更亮、視角寬廣和功耗更小的背光照明系統便顯得十分重要。 在設計時若能事先以電腦模擬的方法,找出背光板的最佳設計結構,將更能使得背光板特性合於所定的要求。因此以數值方法來輔助背光板的設計與製造,將可節省許多不必要的嘗試錯誤次數與時間,並可得到最佳的效果。 在本論文中,我們先以實驗的方法實際量測出散射物質的散射分布,再輔以數值模擬方法找出其分布函數,並根據光度學,計算出導光板上表面的光照度。最後,利用此一模擬方法對各式背光模組特性作一討論與分析。
LCD display has become a key-component of portable display equipments because of its high brightness, thin thickness and low power consumption. In order to have a better display performance with TFT color LCD, the high bright and wide viewing angular backlighting systems are required. It is expected to test various structures of the backlighting system with computer simulation before designing. Therefore, with the computer simulation, we can save a considerable amount of the try-error time and develop the backlight module which has an optimum structure. In this thesis, we also present the experimental results for the light scattering distribution, as the light is incident on the white-painted surface. Based on these results we find the spatial distribution function of the light scattering. According to the photometry, we calculate the illuminance on the surface of light guide. Finally, the simulation results for different configurations of light guide are analyzed and discussed.
