摘要: 電子商務程序執行過程並不侷限於自身範圍,它可能橫跨不同部門,甚至不同企業,如何有效執行電子商務程序是e-企業所面臨的一大問題。本論文提出以代理人為基礎的環境 (Agent-based Process Environment , APE),利用代理人來實作decentralized workflow management system,由具有mobility的程序代理人來 執行XML-based 程序描述語言所定義的電子商務程序,代理人彼此透過傳遞XML-based代理人溝通訊息,來協調程序執行和支援程序演進。利用這樣的架構來執行電子商務程序不僅效能較為提升,且系統更為可靠。
The process of E-commerce is not confined to a single company. It extends beyond different departments, or organizations. How to effectively enact the process is a big concern. This research proposes an Agent-based Process Environment (APE) using agents to implement a decentralized workflow management system. Mobile process agents of APE enact the E-commerce process defined by an XML-based process modeling language. And agents communicate with each other through XML-based agent communication messages to coordinate enactment and evolution. APE appears to improve both the performance and reliability of E-commerce process.
