摘要: 不同于以往二维人脸辨识的方法,本论文是研究利用两张人脸影像所具有的三维资讯,从三维空间的角度来探讨人脸辨识的问题。其主要方法是从人脸上挑选取三个特征点以形成一参考平面,并求出其他各特征点相对于此平面的关联仿射结构。因为此种结构具有投影几何的不变性,所以即使相机内外参数不同,或人脸以不同的角度取像,同一个人所求出对应于此一结构之特征值并不会改变,而不同的人所求出之结果则恒有误差。基于这样的特性,所提出的方法便可达到辨识人脸的目的。
Different from many existing face recognition approaches, this thesis considered using the 3D information obtained from two face images to solve the problem of face recognition. The proposed approach first chooses three feature points from a face to establish a reference plane, then computes the relative affine structure(RAS)with respect to this plane using the rest of feature points. Such a structure is an invariant under projective geometry for the same person, even under the variations of intrinsic or extrinsic camera parameters, but is different for different persons. A numerical measure is thus established to assess the difference between two RAS’s and to facilitate face recognition.
