摘要: 近年來,全世界的電信業者皆處於由第二代無線通訊系統轉型為第三代系統的階段,而真正推出第三代無線通訊系統服務的業者仍少之又少,目前僅有日本的NTT DoCoMo已經提供了第三代的服務。因此,在第三代系統的發展技術尚未完全成熟之前,進一步的提升與研究其開發技術,實為我們關心的課題。 於本論文中,我們根據3GPP定義的需求與功能,特別針對IMS子系統所屬之Cx介面,設計了一個整體的實做架構,提供了HSS與CSCF之間可靠的溝通橋樑。HSS與CSCF可透過Cx介面,來進行對IMS使用者的認證及授權機制,並交換提供服務時所需的資訊。本論文所提出的Cx介面,將可用於研究所需的第三代無線網路測試平台,亦提供了欲架設第三代網路的業者一套完整的Cx介面解決方案。
In recent years, the operators over the world all face the phase of transferring the second generation mobile communication system (2G) to the third generation (3G). However, there are few ones to really provide the services of the 3G mobile system. So far, only the NTT DoCoMo in Japan has published the 3G services. Therefore, before the technology of developing the 3G communication system becomes mature, it is still such an issue that we are concerned about to improve the technique for deploying the 3G system. In this thesis, based on the requirements and functionalities defined by the 3GPP, we designed an overall architecture for implementing the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Cx Interface. The Cx Interface provides a reliable bridge for the HSS and the CSCF in the IMS. The HSS and the CSCF could process the authentication and the authorization for the IMS users, and exchange the information needed while providing the services.The Cx Interface presented in this thesis could be used on the testing platform of the 3G system for the academic research. It also provides a thorough solution for the Cx Interface, for the operators who are interested in deploying the 3G networks.
