摘要: 以内容为基础之影像撷取使用影像的色彩、纹理、物件的形状以及物件之间的空间关系,来作为撷取类似影像的依据。在本论文中我们专注于空间关系的讨论,并且提出一个结合了图像索引法则和乏晰逻辑的影像表示法,可以将物件之间不明确的空间关系评估出来。此一特性可应用于地理资讯系统中的空间关系推理。同时它的乏晰性质和人类对于空间关系的认知较为相近,使得此一影像表示法可以很容易地和自然语言结合,有利于在空间资料库中进行自然语言查询。
Content-based image retrieval retrieves similar images via the contents of the query image, such as color, texture, shapes of objects, and the spatial relationships between objects. In this thesis, we focus on the spatial relationships of the content-based image retrieval and propose a new representation which combines iconic indexing scheme and fuzzy logic to provide the ability to assess the ambiguous spatial relationships between objects. This representation captures the ambiguity of spatial relationships and therefore facilitates spatial reasoning which is helpful in the area of geographic information systems (GIS). And the fuzzy property of the representation also makes it more consistent with human concepts and easier to incorporate with natural language, and therefore facilitates natural language query in the spatial databases.
