dc.description.abstract近幾年來無線網路蓬勃發展,其中WLAN及GPRS是最為廣泛應用的兩種系統,然而在這兩種系統中,WLAN的服務範圍小,GPRS的使用價格高昂及頻寬較低。為了能擴充無線網路的服務範圍及降低使用成本,整合這兩種系統有其必要性,在本篇論文中,我們利用代理伺服器為基礎提出了一個在WLAN/GPRS整合無線網路下無接縫換手的方式。在本篇論文中亦提出了系統效能實驗結果,包括有封包延遲時間,換手造成的延遲時間,以及整體網路輸出效能,我們利用這些數據來分析系統的效能。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractWireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and General Packet Ratio Service (GPRS) are two of the most widely used wireless network systems. In order to integrate these two systems, there exist two approaches: routing-based approach and pure-end system approach. In this thesis, we provide a seamless handoff method which is based on routing-based approach for integrated WLAN/GPRS network. In addition, the experiment results we given for analyzing the performance of this system include packet delay, handoff latency and throughput.en_US
