dc.description.abstract船蟲機利用IPv4 UDP通訊協定建立IPv6隧道,提供位在私有IPv4網路的IPv6主機和國際間另外IPv6網路相連,解決一般IPv6隧道無法在私有IPv4網路建立的問題。鑑於此,在行政院國家資訊通信基本建設專案推動小組的補助下,我們開發了在Linux平台第一個非營利導向的船蟲機制實作。本論文介紹我們的船蟲伺服器架構和船蟲傳遞器架構,並將我們的實作和世界上現有的船蟲機制實作就架構方面以及效能方面分析研究。經過我們實際測試,我們的實作的船蟲機制在傳送IPv6封包方面比其它兩個公開實作快了42%-75%。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractBy tunneling IPv6 packets over IPv4 UDP, Teredo supports IPv6 hosts located within private IPv4 networks for connection with external IPv6 networks. Under National Information and Communication Initiative in Taiwan, we have developed the first non-commercial Linux-based Teredo mechanism. In this thesis, we describe our implementation of Teredo server and Teredo relay, and compare our solution with other Teredo implementations in the public domain. Our study indicates that our solution reduces the tunneling overhead and transmission delay over two other implementations by 42%-75%.en_US
