摘要: 半导体产业是我国最重要的两大产业之一,在整个产业的供应链中,从设计、制造、封装、测试等四大领域我国已经达到世界属一属二的领导地位,可惜的是在半导体设备方面,目前自制率尚不及8%( IT IS,2005),这与半导体设备产业研发经费投入大,国内产品踏入之时程较晚有关,相对于美、日设备大厂每年投入数百亿台币研发而言,国内业者独自发展技术门槛高 (朱博涌,1998)。
尤其在半导体制程中最重要的黄光设备领域里,主要的设备全部由美、日、欧等的外商所占据,而我们的半导体发展也必须跟着外商黄光设备研发的速度与方向来做制程上的变更,完全没有自主性。
本研究从黄光设备厂商的角度切入,该个案设备厂商在黄光设备的曝光机领域具有全球前二大的实力,而且在全球所有半导体设备供应商的排名也都保持在前十名之内,可以说具有指标性的意义。

本研究结果归纳如下
1. 个案公司应采取成本领导与差异化策略。
2. 建议有意朝该领域发展的国内厂商采取集中化策略,集中资源朝特定的利基市场或者聘请原厂技师甚至直接并购国外零组件厂以取得关键技术。
Semi conductor field is one of the most important industries of Taiwan. We have already been in the leadership in this field from design, production, packing and testing among the world. But unfortunately, in the area of semiconductor equipments, the rate of manufacture of Taiwan is far less than 8% (ITIS, 2005). The reasons can explain these situations are the insufficient funds of investment and the delay to the market. Compared with Americans’ and Japanese’ famous companies invest lots of capitals on development; Taiwanese cooperation has more limits to develop this technology individually.
The main equipments of lithography field mostly come from USA, Japan and Europe; therefore, the advance of this technology in Taiwan has to follow their steps without any independence.
This research is about the supplier of lithography that is the first tier supplier among the world, and it is a norm in semiconductor field
The conclusions of this theory are as below:
1. Cost leadership and differentiation strategy this supplier in this case should take for the existing equipment market.
2. The manufactures which are looking forward to the filed should focus on particular or specific market segment or niche.
