摘要: | 本研究有三个目的:(一)以全球暖化这一个科学议题,并以Rogers 创新传布理论观点,来检视影响采用节能减碳这个新事物的相关因素,包括新事物的特质(相对利益、相容性、复杂性、可试用性、及可观察性等)及消费者特性(人口变项,媒体使用行为,个人特质,全球暖化的知识)的影响; (二)探讨意见领袖的人际传播行为及其个人特质,大众媒体的讯息主要在于以最迅速的方式告知最多数的人全球暖化的相关讯息,而知识传布及累积则需藉由意见领袖的人际讨论来达到。不同的个人特质会导致不同人际讨论的倾向,本研究检视,是否具有高感官刺激追求的个人及具有外向个性的个人,在观看完电视新闻有关于全球暖化讯息的报导后,比较有可能会跟周遭的亲朋好友及同事讨论全球暖化的相关议题;(三)人际讨论的情境也会影响个人是否进行人际讨论,其中一个情境就是个人感受到的自我效能,当个人感受到对某一个议题具有相当高的自我效能,则此一个人会比较主动的去讨论这一个议题,本研究检视不同自我效能的感受,是否会引导读者做不同频率的全球暖化相关议题的人际讨论。 This study adopts Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovation Model as the theoretical framework to investigate the relationship between the diffusion of global warming knowledge and interpersonal communication. There are three purposes in this study: (1) According to the literature review on global warming, the phenomenon of global warming presents an enormous threat to human beings, and thus immediate actions should be taken to reduce the emissions of heat-trapping gases. The first research purpose in this study is to examine the factors that influence people’s adoption of the actions to reduce the emissions of heat-trapping gases. (2) Rogers’ diffusion of innovations model basically regards the diffusion process as a communication process in which mass media play the role of informing and interpersonal communication the role of persuading. This model further suggests that opinion leaders are important for persuading people to adopt a given innovation. Therefore, this study tries to understand two personalities of opinion leaders—sensational seeking and extraversion—and examine the relationships between the two personalities and people tendencies to talk about global warming news. (3) The circumstances in which people interact with one another also affect people tendencies to talk about global warming news. This study attempts to understand the relationship between the circumstances that allow people to feel a high degree of self efficacy about the issue on global warming and their tendencies to talk about global warming news. |
