組內相關係數指標之比較

Abstract

本研究旨在探討單因子隨機模式中，兩種組內相關係數指標的性質，包括著名的 ICC(1)和修正的Eta-Squared 估計式。將以(1)估計理論觀點和(2)估計表現優劣等兩種不 同角度進行比較。藉由觀念解析和數值分析的結果，提供如何選擇組內相關係數指標的 明確建議。

This study examines the behavior of two indices for measuring the intraclass correlation in the one-way random effects model: the prevailing ICC(1), and the corrected eta-squared. These two procedures differ in their methods of estimating the variance components that define the intraclass correlation coefficient, and their performance of bias and mean squared error in the estimation of the intraclass correlation coefficient. The conceptual description and numerical investigation provide guidelines to help researchers choose between the two indices for more accurate reliability analysis in multilevel research.
