摘要: | 本研究接續先前成果,進一步探討封閉討泡沫材料受壓之力學行為。本文分為實驗與數值模擬兩大部分。實驗部分,有計畫地設計進行了不同條件下的壓力實驗。並嘗試從微觀結構及其幾何特徵的觀點,來解釋實驗結果。數值模擬部分,仿照文獻建議,建立了具規則幾何之簡化之二維數值模型。所建立之數值模型應用於泡沫材料機械參數之模擬與預測,並將所得與實驗結果進行比較。透過比較發現數值解遠低於實驗結果,顯示簡化之二維模型並不適合封閉泡沫材料力學行為之模擬。 This study aims to investigate the mechanical behavior of the ALPORAS closed-cell aluminum foam to compression, by means of experimental works as well as numerical simulations. To this end, a series of experiments are first conducted systematically. Effects of each of the testing conditions such as the specimen relative densities and the loading directions etc are accessed accordingly. In addition, observations made on the foam microstructure from our previous efforts are incorporated in the explanation of the present experimental results. On the other hand, a simplified yet representative 2-D numerical model based on a hexagonal geometry has been constructed. The model is subsequently adopted in predicting the foam elastic properties. The numerical results are lower than experimental results indicating such a simplified 2-D is not suitable for simulating the foam material studied that has complex 3-D microstucture. |
