摘要: 一維(one-dimensional)高分子奈米材料具有獨特的性質以及潛在的應用性,因此在 近來引起來極大的興趣。然而相對其他方向而言,只有相對少的研究是關於如何製作一 維的高分子奈米材料。在本計劃中,我們想要利用一個簡單的模板方法來研究不同高分 子與高分子相關之奈米材料的製作與鑑定。在模板的使用上我們會使用陽極氧化鋁模 板。這種模版可以直接買到也可以利用二次陽極氧化(second anodization)的方法來合 成。均聚高分子(homopolymers) 與團聯式共聚高分子(block copolymers) 將會被引入 到氧化鋁模板的奈米級孔洞之中而形成一維的高分子奈米材料。我們將會研究這些奈米 材料由於侷限效應(confinement effect)而產生的形態與特性上的變化。這些製作出來的 高分子奈米材料將可用於自組裝的結構基材(building blocks)以及需要較大表面積的材 料的相關應用。
Recently, one-dimensional (1-D) polymer nanomaterials have attracted great interests because of their unique properties and potential applications. However, there have been relatively few studies on the generation of one-dimensional polymer nanomaterials. In this proposal, we would like to study the fabrication and characterization of different polymer and polymer-related nanomaterials using a simple template method. The templates we will use are anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membranes which could be obtained commercially or synthesized by a second anodization method. Homopolymers and block copolymers will be introduced into the nanopores of the AAO membranes and one-dimensional (1-D) polymer nanomaterials will be made. We will study the morphology and property changes of these nanomaterials due to the confinement effect. The resultant polymer nanomaterials could be served as building blocks for self-assembly and applications that requires materials with high surface areas.
