摘要: 本計畫以先前建立之玻璃熱壓成形製程技術為基礎,針對現有研究用熱壓成 形設備之缺點進行改善,著眼於研發低成本、且符合研究及產業應用所需之新型 光學玻璃透鏡熱壓成形機台。現有研究用熱壓設備雖已具有光學玻璃鏡片熱壓成 形製程之能力,但因現有電腦伺服壓床的位移精度與平行度無法滿足光學元件精 度要求;且於真空條件下進行熱壓成形時,無法精確控制成形力,因此成形精度 控制困難且產品良率不佳。另一方面,因紅外線燈管置於真空爐體內加熱,爐內 高溫環境使紅外線燈管之壽命降低。為了克服上述現有熱壓設備的缺點,本計畫 首先將針對電腦伺服壓床精度進行改良設計,以提升熱壓成形之精度;並嘗試將 壓力感測器設計置放於真空爐體內,克服熱壓成形力之控制因真空所產生之影 響;而採用真空腔體爐外加熱設計,利用紅外線可穿透石英之特性,透過石英真 空腔體加熱模具與玻璃胚料,使紅外線燈管置於較低溫的爐外環境,達到提高紅 外線燈管壽命之目的。 本計畫希望藉由產學合作,由已建立之開發熱壓設備之基礎能力,與廠商合 作改良設計光學玻璃熱壓成型機台,以符合研究單位及產業使用之需求。同時建 立光學玻璃熱壓成形設備之關鍵技術,輔導合作廠商藉此跨足光電產業領域,並 提升產業技術與競爭力。
Based on the previously established hot embossing technique for optical glass, this proposal is focused on improving the existing experimental apparatus and developing a new optical glass hot embossing machine with the aims of low-cost and suitable for industrial application. Although optical glass hot embossing process can be proceeded by current experimental apparatus so far, the displacement precision and parallelism of current servo controlled compression tester cannot be satisfied for the optical component requirement. Furthermore, the forming force of hot embossing cannot be controlled precisely in vacuum, which makes forming difficult and results in high defective rate of products. On the other hand, the infrared heaters were placed in the vacuum and high temperature furnace so the life span would be reduced. In order to overcome the above disadvantages, this proposal is focused on improving the servo controlled compression tester to elevate the hot embossing precision, and tries to overcome controlling the forming force of hot embossing in vacuum by putting the load cell in the vacuum furnace. Moreover, infrared heaters are placed outside of the vacuum furnace. By the property which infrared rays can pass through quartz tube to heat the molds and the optical glass, the infrared heaters are in lower temperature environment and the life spans can be elevated. By industry-university cooperation, this proposal is based on the existing development ability of optical glass hot embossing apparatus to develop a new optical glass hot embossing machine to meet the industrial application requirement with cooperative factory. Furthermore, the key technique of optical glass hot embossing on machine will be established and transferred, so the cooperation company can obtain the territory of optoelectronic industry and the technical and competitive abilities of the whole industry can be upgraded.
