摘要: | 首先感謝國科會工程處對於本計畫給予大力的支持,讓本研究計畫得以順利
進行,因本研究計畫為連續性計畫,接續上一年度所提出「利用微製程技術製作
高性能微型質子交換膜燃料電池之研究與開發」,計畫將說明本計畫之研究進度
以及相關之研究成果報告。
本計畫第二年則依第一年之數值模擬結果,採用最佳化設計之流場,利用微
機電製程技術在矽晶圓上以微影、蝕刻等方式製作出微型燃料電池所需之流場型
式,再與膜電極組組裝後並進行測試,利用所得之相關資料進一步探討分析其不
同材質之材料表面特性以及不同操作參數等條件對電化學性能的影響。最後則將
所製作完成之單電池串聯成為電池堆型式以提升功率,同時進行電化學性能及長
時間等測試分析,也將建構微型燃料電池系統控制電路,並且實際測試整體系統
之效能。
本計畫成果將在國內學術界建立微型燃料電池開發之基礎研究、及建立微型
燃料電池研究根基;在產業發展方面,以台灣電子產業在國際間產業分工優勢,
相信所開發之高性能微型燃料電池將有助於國內開發高比功率及微小化之燃料
電池堆。 The principal investigator first appreciates the engineering division of National Science Council to award a project last year to let PI carry out a preliminary study on the manufacture of high-performance micro fuel cell by using MEMS technology. Since the present proposal is a continuous effort from the previous project, which now is undergoing, it will show the updated progress and the corresponding research results. This proposal will adopt the optimal designs of flow channels according to the numerical predictions obtained from the present awarded project. Then, the corresponding flow channel pattern of Micro fuel cell will be manufactured on the silicon wafer by using the MEMS technologies, such as photolithography and etching processes. After that, it will be assembled with MEA (membrane-electrode-assembly), and the performance of the resembled micro fuel cell will be tested. The obtained test data will be investigated further by analyzing the electro-chemistry reaction, the surface characteristics due to using different materials, and the parameters from different operational conditions. Finally, several manufactured single micro-fuel cells will be serially connected to form a stack to increase the power generation. In the meantime, the electro-chemistry performance and endurance will be tested and analyzed intensively. Also, the control circuit will be integrated into the micro fuel cell stack to complete the system. The stack system performance now will be tested to identify its functional performance. This project intends to build up the basic research for the Micro-PEM fuel cell, and establish the platform for the future applications. As for the industrial application, the proto type of high performance Micro-PEM Fuel Cell Stack will assist the development of the fuel cell stack with a high specific power density. |
