摘要: 行動電信技術發展從第三代邁向第四代的這段期間,電信系統設備供應商的競爭發生了莫大的變化,以往主要的競爭者相繼發生破產或整併,使得產業內的競爭更加白熱化。本研究以長期經營的電信系統設備供應商領導者E公司為例,探討企業的持續性競爭優勢。研究結果顯示以企業自身領先主導的科技創新只有在產業生態穩定時可以帶來持續性的競爭優勢。在產業生態發生巨大變化時,企業要需要先重新檢視新的產業生態系競爭者,再將企業重新定位於有利位置,才有機會持續維繫競爭優勢。
Coming together with the development of mobile technologies from 3G to 4G, the competence among telecomm system providers is becoming dramatically harsh. Several of the major players are either bankrupted or acquired to survive. E company, the market leader among these corporations is selected in this research to analyze its sustainable competence advantages. The research results indicate that the corporate leading technology innovation could only maintain its sustainable competence advantages only in a relatively stable industry ecosystem, and suggest that as long as a radical change emerges in the ecosystem, the corporate must firstly re-identify all the new competitors, re-allocate itself at a most beneficial position, and re-award its sustainable competence advantages.
