dc.description.abstractA switching strategy for multi-level multi-phase voltage source inverter (VSI) based on optimal feedback quantization is derived. The contributions include the improved harmonics distortion comparing with the conventional SVPWM and the realizable block diagram of quantization to produce optimal switching state. By finding the most significant switching state, the implementation of quantization block needs only adders and comparators. Further, the implementation complexity of quantization is independent of phase/level numbers. In the simulation, the comparison of the proposed method and SVPWM confirms the effectiveness of the proposed method.en_US
